Looking through my hard drive I found an old comic I worked on a few years ago. At the time I had a nasty habit of starting something, getting bored with it, then stopping. This was a bit of an exception in that I managed to finish an “issue”. (For me that was twelve pages) It’s the first part of a Cyberpunk/Space Opera story that has haunted my brain and sketchbooks since 2002 (Where it started as a TaleSpin Fanfic) After this issue, I decided I wanted to reboot it as hard scifi, and it was the frustration of research on top of drawing, writing, and working my day job (At the time I was doing ten hours a day without weekends) that eventually led me to try making a comic about something simpler, And that was Cats in the Kitchen.

Anyway, here is “Tales of an Interstellar Truck Stop: Hunted Wolf”, Volume One, Issue One: “Prologue”. It’s wordy, and doesn’t make much sense, there are severe logic and science errors and the lettering is atrocious (Though it’s better than early Cats in the Kitchen, so apparently I got worse…) However, all that aside, it IS kind of awesome, so I wanted to share it with you.

(I should point out that Rack111 was a free webhost that was more than a bit shady, and also doesn’t exist anymore. Having money for real hosting was the best thing that has ever happened to my internet career…)
