I’ve been thinking a lot about how I need to work on my environments, make them feel more real and consistent. I’ve actually been sketching out floorplans and isometric views of the kitchen and dining room, and taking pictures of the kitchen at work, so I can see things like the buildup of carbon on the backsplash of the stove, the missing maintainence panel on the front of one stove, or the tin of oil above the flat top, things that I wouldn’t think to include usually. My brother gave me some ideas for things to include in the scene, and the whole line of thought started with a DA Journal Post by comic artist Sean Gordon Murphy.

And no, Law #14 isn’t a superstition. It’s a scientific fact.
