Whenever I find something food related and totally awesome online, I’ll usually share it here. On that note, have you ever thought: “Pancakes are great, but wouldn’t they be better if they were also dinosaurs?” Well, check it out:

(Jim’s Pancakes)

Jim of Jim’s Pancakes has you covered! Even if you thought BASICALLY that same sentence, except replacing “Dinosaur” with “Toilet” he’s STILL got you covered.

So, I’ve got a couple of things to mention in this entry, first of all is Midnight as drawn by Denver Brubaker of Tales of a Checkered Man. It’s pretty sweet…

(Click the images for larger versions)

Also, for those of you who don’t know, I’ve temporarily moved to Victoria to take my second year training for  my cooking apprenticeship. Until now I haven’t had much to report, but today we did Coco Painting on Chaud Froid. I wasn’t going to miss an opportunity like that…

I think Chocolate suits Weed. We also made cold platters in groups of two, here’s mine and my partners:

I got last pick on mirrors, which is why we got the triangle one. My poor Fennel Narwhal got all smushed in the corner. 🙁

All in all though this was a lot of fun, and it’s an experience that I probably won’t get to have again, since nobody does cold platters like this anymore.

This needs little or no explanation. Prepare to meet, the biggest Dagwood Sandwich in the world:

Via Mind.Groovin.Rocketman on Tumbler. Photographed for the Universal Records Database.

In other news, I’m moving to Victoria to begin the second year of training for my apprenticeship. This shouldn’t effect the comic too much for now; I have a buffer that will take me into November (Wonderful things, Buffers) But, what it does mean is a whole lot of new material. I’m really hoping my Chef is French, so I can work on Chef’s accent a bit in the comic.

Today I present to you some lovely art by Deviant Art’s own Happy Crumble. I love Chef’s expression, and Alan is just perfect.
